Conor McGregor’s body has drastically changed during his 10-year UFC run.
‘Notorious’ entered MMA’s premier promotion as a featherweight prospect who was big for the weight but made the 145lb limit every time.

After knocking out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds to become the featherweight king, the Irishman jumped up 25lbs for back-to-back bouts with welterweight contender Nate Diaz.
Ultimately, McGregor settled at lightweight and won another title before transitioning to boxing for a fight with ring legend Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
The former dual-weight champion was last seen in action at 155lbs when he broke his leg during a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.
During his time on the sidelines, McGregor has seriously bulked up and at one point he joked about being the same size as 265lb heavyweight Francis Ngannou.

It appeared his days competing at lightweight – never mind featherweight – were done until he recently set his sights on the UFC’s number one pound-for-pound fighter, Alexander Volkanovski.
‘The Great’ has reigned over the 145lb division since 2019, but McGregor is confident he could beat him and claimed as much while watching UFC 293 this past weekend.
He tweeted: “Ask my b******* that little sausage Volkonovski is no way no.1 pound for pound. Silly. That’s quick work for me. 100 per cent accuracy work.
“Readable. Hittable. Hurtable. I like he has this title though, we should fight at some stage so the featherweight goats will have all faced off and let there be no debate.”

Not one to get involved with social media trash talk, Volkanovski simply replied: “Let’s do it at UFC 300.”
A fight to settle the debate about who is the best featherweight in UFC history should take place at 145lbs, but McGregor making that weight ever again seems improbable.
Volkanovski, despite his diminutive stature, is happy to move up a division as evidenced by his fight with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev earlier this year.
Before they potentially clash at what’s expected to be the biggest UFC event of all time, McGregor and Volkanovski will return to the Octagon to fight alternative opponents.

‘Mystic Mac’ is booked to face Michael Chandler. A date for his comeback bout is yet to be confirmed, but he claims to be fighting 'Iron' at UFC 296 on December 16.
UFC president Dana White thinks it’s more likely his biggest star will return early in 2024 – an official announcement is expected to be made soon.
Meanwhile, Volkanvoski wants to defend his featherweight belt against undefeated contender Ilia Topuria before the end of the year.
The 34-year-old was expected to chase a rematch with Makhachev after that but could now seek a big-money fight with McGregor instead.
Either way, it appears both men will be competing at 155lbs again soon.
