Monica Lewinsky is back in action and looking better than ever — and it’s for a great cause.
The writer and anti-bullying activist has teamed up with sustainable fashion brand Reformation and the nonprofit Vote.org in a new campaign encouraging women to vote in 2024’s crucial upcoming elections.
The new campaign, which launches Feb. 26, is called “You’ve Got the Power,” and it features Lewinsky in a series of glamorous shots by photographer Zoey Grossman. In the photos, Lewinsky wears a series of looks from the brand’s new workwear collection, which launches at the same time. In one shot, she wears a classic leather trench; in another, a belted black midi dress and heels.
For years, Monica, 50, has been advocating for women to reclaim their voices in a culture that systemically tries to put them in boxes. With the new Reformation and Vote.org partnership, she encourages everyone to get out the vote to help enact change during an incredibly high-stakes moment in America.
“It’s pretty simple: Voting is using our voice to be heard, and it’s the most defining -- and powerful--aspect of democracy," Lewinsky said in a statement about the partnership. "Voting is always important, but the stakes are especially high this year with voter frustration and apathy threatening to meaningfully impact turnout. I’m excited and grateful to be working with Reformation to remind people to register, use their voice, and VOTE! A Ref woman is an empowered woman – and an empowered woman uses her voice."
Reformation also worked with Vote.org to create a one-stop voting shop with everything you need to know about where and how to vote. In celebration of the campaign, Reformation will make a donation to Vote.org, and 100% of proceeds from its “You’ve Got the Power” sweatshirt will go to the nonprofit.
